purchasing some new headlights and noticed an ad for a headlight adjusting tool for the F150. Is this something I should be buying? (98 Single Cab)

 

If you plan on adjusting the headlights so you don't blind on coming traffic you will need it.

 

Have you checked in the owners manual? In mine for my 13, there are instructions on how to adjust.

 

If you dont F it up, theres no need.

When you remove old, set your adjusters on new EXACTLY the same, measure with a small mm ruler

And the headlights will be exactly the same.

If you replace in kind that is

Replace with some goofy looking other headlight...better count on adjusting
