ever since my heater core went out its been nothing but problems... i replaced my heater core and both heater hoses. One of the heater hoses popped back off and covered the back of the engine and firewall. Before this happened the truck was running great, but after it ran like i got antifreeze somewere.. so i thought it would dry out in a day or two.. nope today i decided to pull the 2 middle plugs on the pass. side they were both cover in oil, even the boots.. also ive notice its been leaking alot of antifreeze but only when running... that sounds like a head gasket to me... any other opinions would be great! i really need some help on this one guys!

 

Best to make sure. Get a good screw in compression tester, pull the spark plugs, and check the cylinders. All should be within 10% of the highest cylinder to be safe. If the two you are describing are low in compression, and all the others are up, then yes, I'd say gasket. If they are up, then a leak from somewhere else. You can do a pressure test on the cooling system to see what you have going for you also. I believe YouTube has a video on this, and the compression test if you need assistance. Good luck.
