That is very interesting. That's the first I'd heard of the 5.4, or a Windsor having the issue. Learn something new every day.

 

Yea, I was still under warranty and unaware that problem was going to be as big as it was. I don't think Ford even new at the time lol. But they fixed it. They were apologetic in fact. That might be because I just purchased a new diesel at the time as well. When all this was happening lol.

 

Was it a 7.3?
