Default Hazard Button Removal?

All of the red has worn off mine. Since I have an almost identical (albeit totaled) truck sitting around back with a perfectly good hazard button, I see no reason not to switch them out before I sell it (for the curious ones out there, the truck still runs, it just has some frame damage and isn't worth fixing). It's too late at night to investigate, so don't crucify me if it's really simple.

Unfortunately, the hazard switch is part of the multi-function switch which is your turn signals, hi beams, etc... Personally, I wouldn't do it, lol, too much work unless something was actually not functioning. But that's your call haha. I now that it involves practically dismantalling the steering column unless there is some easier way I'm not privy to
