Maybe a dirty or failing IAC [idle air controller].

This morning I energized the fuel system 3 times and it fired right up and gave no trouble does this iac have something to do with that?

Sounds more like a fuel delivery problem. Pump, leaking injector, bad fuel pressure regulator, ect. Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what's going on.

The iac allows air go get to the engine during idle since the throttle plate is closed. Check the above.

yeah i would have to agree with the guys above... I had a Dodge a few years back and it would do somewhat the same thing... i took it to the shop and the guy did a tune up replaced the plugs, tranny service, etc etc etc... worked fine for a few months... started happening again... turned out it was the idle... so check the idle first... and if it doesnt help try the tune up...a tune up is always good to do regardless...
