Have you used lift shackles? Come in please!
I've seen a number of threads talking about lift shackles, but couldn't find any actual data on results.
I'm looking to get 1" of lift in the back end of my '03 4x4. I'm currently sitting at 23" hub center-to-fender all the way around, and don't want any more than 24". I cannot find a 3" block with an overload ear, and don't really want to stack the factory block on top of a 1" piece. Add-a-leaf springs will raise me up too much.
Another option I've been investigating is lift shackles, but I can't find any actual results (description for a 1.5" shackle read "Provides 1" to 2" of lift"), so.....
If you've used (just) lift shackles in the 1" to 2" range, I'll appreciate if you could please let me know the following info:
1) Manufacturer (and model number if known)
2) Advertised lift
3) Your actual results
4) Any comments you'd like to add
Thanks in advance, guys.

Take a pair of leaf springs from factory packs in the junkyard like I did. Initially netted 1.5 inch lift and settled down to 1". It's a lot stiffer and doesn't sag hard towing my camper. I dont think a measly inch of lift is worth all the work your trying to do to accomplish it
