Default Had the Plugs Changed

My wife decided to surprise me while I was away at a conference and took the truck in for a plug change.

She got home shortly after I did and I heard the truck come in missing and running like crap....I immediately opened the hood and checked the COPs, sure enough one was unplugged...thankfully that was all it was...the guy at the shop told her it was running a bit rough but would be good by the time she got home...

I plugged in the programmer and cleared the code and voila, it runs as smooth as silk now...

Mistakes like that give the good mechanics a bad name. Should have never left the shop. If it was running good before and then isn't. Fix it! How do people like that stay in business. I am a mechanic and see this all the time, almost everyday. I was recommended from this place this. I check it out and am like why are they selling you this when this and that should be addressed. I always fix what it's in for, then once I know I have accomplished that. Now, let's look at these other things I found. I know I am not perfect and don't know everything, but you can still be honest. Maybe you can't help them out this repair but if you earn someone's trust. They will be back for something or tell someone else to bring their vehicle to you. Word of mouth is your best advertisement!!!

My wife was really worried as she knows I am very picky about my truck..

I called the shop where she had it done but they were closed as it was 1600 on Friday...I will call them tomorrow for sure...just to thank them for sending my truck back to me running like that...

I am glad I have a programmer to clear the codes.
