Default H.I.D. Question

Been thinking about getting some for some time now but wonder how they do if fog and in a snowstorm. Would they glare so bad you can't see? I want to get lightning headlights and eventually do a projector retro fit but how do they do in stock housings and lightning housings? Thanks in advance

They don't do very good in the stock or the lightning housings. You would be better off with some silverstar ultras until you do the retro

I know you just did your retro and probably haven't driven through a whole lot at night with them but if you encounter any fog or a snowstorm at night could you let me know how they do. This is my biggest concern since I live in Minnesota and am worried that the glare would be like having your brights on during a snowstorm or fog and not being able to see ten feet in front of you.

They just display the light better than the lightning heads IMO. The only reason i got the lightnings was because i was tired of fighting with the stock heads oxidizing and getting foggy

Have you ever driven through a snowstorm or thick fog with your HIDs in the stock and lightning heads? And how did they perform?
