Default Gotts mod question

Hey guys, Im new to the site. I recently did the "gotts mod" intake mod to my truck....I used 3 inch pvc pipe to a fernco coupler, and i recplaced the stock filter with a high performance Spectre filter. My question is, what are you guys seeing for MPG's? Does the mod seem to help? I've read mixed reviews on this.
- Thanks Tyford01

No, it doesn't help with mpg a single bit. If you've read someone did notice an increase, you need to realize they could have changed their driving style.

Your engine wasn't starving for air before hand. If you would look at your throttle plate when your driving around, you would see that it is only opened a crack. It doesn't need all the air that is coming in.

It gains you 5-8hp at 4000 rpm. So unless you're driving wide open throttle all the time, you won't notice anything.
