Default gotts mod no increase?

So yesterday i did the gotts mod, and i did evrything exactly as instructed and it gave me no extra power. If anything i think i have less. I dont know what the issue is? I didnt disconnect the battery cables as im kind of lazy and that would mean i would have to reset all my stereo and anything electronic. Any other suggestions?

Just remove the negative battery cable for a couple minutes. Your computer needs to re-learn itself. If you do that, you will have followed it 100% and will see if there is a difference.

whats a gotts mod?
it involves removing the intake snorkel which is roughly two inch diameter and replacing it with a 3 inch diameter pvc pipe to create more airflow, giving you more power. google it

It doesn't let more air in, it just reduces the restriction the stock snorkel creates. Gains aren't going to be "felt" every time because every truck and butt dynos are different.

Your not going to notice it. This is a 5500 lbs truck not a go kart. If you got 3hp you aren't going to feel it. It's just a "It obviously can't be worse" mod. Just like running an electric water pump on a sports car, you probably won't feel a gain but it's logical and common sense that it helps.

Like I posted elsewhere, I took my K&N CAI off and did the Gotts mod with a K&N drop in..I have seen gains in my MPG and it seems to take off faster. I like it and don't regret the removal of the CAI at all.
