Replaced master cylinder and abs module and can't get abs pump to turn on nor vehicle to bleed. Any ideas?

Did you bench bleed the master first? Has to be done.

I have a 98 f150, a few years back I replaced the front brakes, rotors, calipers the works could not get them to bleed. Found out that on this year at least there is a right and left caliper that will bolt up on either side. I had them reversed, which meant they were upside down, and therefore would not bleed no matter how long I tried.

Is a gasket needed between the master cylinder and the brake booster?
