Are you going to get an email tune for it?
Personally, I wouldn't recommend a canned tune as I've used them before and were def hit or miss. ( and the miss part super leaned the engine out, luckily I caught it before it damaged it ) I don't know about the Evo but I have a Xcal 3 and that should work as it just plugs into your port under the dash.
But just make double sure it's unlocked...

It SHOULD just plug into your OBII port ( assuming it's the same as the Xcal 3 I have ) but to be 100% sure, I would verify with the manufacturer to make sure and that also your truck is supported.
