Default Getting her back on the road

First off I would like to give a quick thanks for all the awesome write ups you guys and gals have taken your time to post. I own a 2003 FX4 SuperCrew with 125k on her. Due to deployments, my truck was sitting in the German weather for a little over a year. Salt and snow combined to give me a hell of a time getting her road worthy again. We have to pass a German safety inspection prior to registering our vehicles over here and it is really a PIA. The cost of getting a large American vehicle worked on over here is insane so I have had to learn to do all the work myself in a MWR garage. Here is a quick list of eveything I have learned and accomplished this month.

1. Resealed the Rear Diff cover.
2. Replaced Rear Diff pinion seal
3. Replaced all four rotors and calipers
4. Replaced brake lines
5. Replaced upper and lower ball joints
6. Replaced front wheel bearings
7. Replaced HVAC bulbs
8. Replaced 2 dash bulbs
9. Replaced the headlight switch
10. Replaced all 4 shocks
11. Mounted and Balanced 4 new tires.

I couldn't do an alignment myself so I ended up paying for that but everything else went more or less to plan. The ball joints were a bit of a hassle. It took me 3 and half hours to figure out the first side but the second was about a third of the time. The biggest hassle over here is getting everything needed for a job prior to beginning. There is not an Autozone or Napa to run to when a small part or fastener is needed so you have to improvise and make due. Again I just want to say thanks for all the write ups time you guys have put into this site.

Well I'll be first to say your welcome buddy! This site hasn't helped me out as much as you, but I still appreciate the helpful community it has.
