Default GEM issue with a twist

Yesterday while driving my radio went off, turn signals out, power windows out, wipers not working. Once i parked it would not go back into drive. Thanks to this very useful forum i got it back into drive via neutral start and got it home.

So today i removed the fuse box expecting to find corroded terminals on the gem module and a leaking window.

Well, everything looked great. No moisture and the terminals look like they were just assembled.

The funny thing is that my brake lights are also out. Looking on the forums i did not see that the brake lights go through the gem module.

Checked the brake light bulbs, they are good.

Fuses are all good except the trailer signal in the engine fuse box.

Fuse 15 seams to be the key. With that removed and the engine running i can get the radio to work again.

Are there any other tests i can do to isolate the issue?

Could it be a ground fault on that fuse 15 circuit?

Thanks.

Question

Thanks for the reply. I took the ignition switch apart an no signs of issue.

The hazard lights are also out. I tested the relay and it is bad. Could that be causing the issue?

I'll get a new one tomorrow and install.
