Will gears out of a f150 fit into a f250 ld axel?

Also, what would it take to switch the front hubs to a 150 hub? It's a 2 wheel drive

No the gears are not interchangable, but the complete diff assembly is, but you will need new ubolts, and c bolt plates. As far as the front rotors are concerned you will need new bearings, and rotors from a 2wd expedition.

Yes u bolts.They are what is used to mount the differential to the rear leaf springs. The 9.75/8.8 have a smaller axle tubes than the 10.25 does.

I know what u bolts are. Doesn't make sense on why the axel tubs would need to be replaced

You would have to swap out the entire rear axel hub to hub. The 8.8 rear axel has smaller tubes do you need the correct u bolts. They are cheap to have bent up so just replace them don't re use u bolts
