The gear shift selector on my truck is broken how do I fix it?ive heard about using zipties but I don't really know where to put them.

Some people use the zip ties but when mine broke this summer I just went a junkyard and picked up a new one, wasn't even from an f150 haha pretty simple fix but couldn't tell ya how to use the ties

i found a fix for it that replaces the broken part with metal so it won't break again
