Default Gear indicator alignment

So as of recently I've noticed that my indicator no longer is properly aligned with the gear position I am actually in. So say I put my truck Reverse, well the indicator lines up medway between reverse and neutral. This is annoying me is it fixable and how?

there's a little wheel that you turn under the dash. It could be broken though. If it's broken then you can fix it with zip ties the broken one is mine haha. It's a lot better then it was.

its cold as hell so you owe me for taking these pics for you hahaha, crawl up under the dash where the peddles and locate this part. Spin the little black wheel until she lines back up again..
