Gear Indicator

Is there any easy way to get the gear indicator back into the gauge cluster or do i have to fight it until it goes in? thanks

Fight till it goes in is really the only option I had when I had my cluster out.

It shouldn't be to hard mine had some slack in it that allowed me to push it up into the cluster.
