Default Gauges not working

Hi all
My neighbour has a 1998/99 5.4 V8 Triton & all his gauges have stopped working. No speedo,Tacho,Oil presure,Fuel or Temp gauge, All his warning lights work fine. It also drives OK, The auto box works fine too. We have looked through the forums for answers but came up with nowt. all the fuses are good, So if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Oh just to let you know we live in the UK .
Thanks, Glenn

If owners manual is available, check there under proper listing for your gauge type, it does sound like a fuse or circuit breaker issue. If this is a fully digital cluster, search under "solder joints" for faulty connections. There were issues of failing speedo's due to this. Not sure about it pertaining to engine gauges.

Thanks for the replys. We checked fuse #29 and all the others too . We don't have a manual, but we have had the dash out and all soldered joints seem ok, dry joint is another matter tho. If we connect it up outa the dash and tap the cluster that might tell us if we have a bad joint?
