I was trying to fix the lighting behind my gauges and I couldn't get to it but I did take me gauge pointers off. Once I put everything back and took it for a drive my speedometer wasn't working correctly. And my RPM meter just stayed at 0. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

 

Check wiring and plugs? If you didn't change anything out but took it apart and put it back together, I'd say that's your problem

 

Yeah I took the plugs out of the back I didn't think about that. I thought it had something to do with taking the pointers off

 

That shouldn't hurt anything, I had a 99 mustang I did white faced guages on and had to remove those, but they just push back on and remember where they were when u took them out, I had to drive beside my friend at 40 mph and put my needle back on so it wasn't off

 

Make sure you've cleaned the contacts on the plugs on the gauge cluster rear, and the pins on the connector themselves. I LED'd mine, and all of a sudden, the Oil pressure indicator and battery gauge read 0. Wound up being the connector on that side of the cluster wasn't making good contact after reconnecting it.
