gauge cluster light change?

Default gauge cluster light change?

how do you change the color of the lighting of the cluster, i dont necessarily want to go led but im not against it just whtever is easier and gets the job done i want to make everything havea red backlight in my cluster. is it just bulbs u change? or what/

Sadly no. I'd go red LEDs since their cheaper and last longer. But to go red you'll have to scrape the green film off the inside of the cluster and to do that you have to remove the needles which is the only reason I haven't done this

um no its not read the discription!
The backrround changes from white to balck
and its not those its one peace. white at night black in the daytime
and 2 it changes 7 colors.
edit o sory the link for the product discription was on another site but same product.
anyway even the product name says " F150 Ford F150 Option Racing Indiglo Gauge with Tach - 7 Color - IGG-FD113"
it dose not say overlay! unfortunatly this site dosent have more info
sory i forgot where else it was i only saved this link cuz thats where i found it chepest.
but anyway its not just an overlay actuly looks like one of the coolest aftermarket parts avalible for our trucks
I'm probly gona have to get it sometime when i get the money.

Your right it's got some time of backlight panel thing but you have to wire it to a separate dimmer switch. Must be some quality stuff though for 30 bucks

No choice here - you MUST get rid of the film to change the color (numbers and indicators). If you like Blue (or green, depending on year), then a hyper white LED is the way to go. If you do remove the film, then open for color choice.
