How much of a lift do you have? These trucks did not come factory with a lift.

A lot of people here like the Bilstein 5100 series shocks, and I've heard that the Skyjacker ones are good too (not sure what model though).

Oh maybe I don't have a lift. I just assumed I did because of my off road package. So I should be able to use any shocks?

Rancho rs5000 are what came on the truck I believe. I'd use those. I'm using them and I really like them.

Just look for shocks for a 2003 F-150 4x4.

All the Fx4 means is you have a few skid plates and you have the Rancho shocks instead of the normal shocks every other truck gets.

You could go back to Rancho shocks, or upgrade to Bilstein, or save some cash and get a knock off brand, as long as they fit your truck. Are you in Washington state by chance? I still have my stock shocks if you want them.
