Default Funny Story

a few days ago i was looking a bit closer at the inside of passenger side fender and saw something that looked like some sort of cable or hose was supposed to attached. i started to pull on it and it came out about twelve inches. i was thinking i had somehow blown a shock or something. i had my dad come look at it too. he thought the same thing. it seemed loose so we started to pull it all the way out. As it turns out i dont have to drop a couple hundred into my truck because it was our LED worklight we had been missing for a year!!

I took apart my dash for the first time to replace the GEM, half way through pulling it apart i noticed something that looked unusual. I reached up into the dash to find a red screwdriver. Thank you previous owner.

My dad bought a 85' Monte Carlo from New Orleans after Katrina and while gutting the car we yanked out the dash and found a giant bag of weed!

My father-in-law recently bought a P-51 Mustang and we found a drop light hanging inside one of the landing gear bays. It had been flown all the way from SoCal to here in Kansas like that... Scary stuff!

This is it before we started pulling it apart... It's a bit of a mish-mash of parts. It started life as a P51A but was crashed and rebuilt with a D model intake and wings and a B model canopy. We are rebuilding it into a correct A model. You can look it up online it is the "Polar Bear".
In the background is a Russian Yak-11 which is experimental as the wings are chopped and it has a 1300hp Pratt & Whitney engine. It's quite fast
