The name is Chad and I'm new here. I am hoping to find some help with any problems I have and provide help to others when I can.

I just purchased a 97 F150 super cab 4x4. It has the 4.6L with 157,000 miles. There is an engine code for 02s left bank lean. I have not reset the computer yet but I believe I may have found and fixed the culprit for that code, a vacuum hose broken. It still has a slight miss and backfire through the exhaust when under hard acceleration. I don't recall from my days working in a shop ever seeing a O2 sensor cause a lean miss/backfire.

I forgot to mention the truck has 285 75 16's and the speedo is off the wrong way. I am actually going slower than the speedo says according to my GPS.
