6 bolts, 1 hose clamp, 3 screws, and 1 wire connector and you can see everything clearly and don't have to lay under the truck, made the job really enjoyable and I was able in inspect everything else under the bed and wash the frame

There might be one or two in my blower swap thread. Not sure but I only took a couple and I deleted most of my pics from that swap.

I'm not arguing about which way is better, there are a couple ways to change the pump, it depends on the amount of time one has to spend on it,..I was never on my back, I didn't get filthy dirty. If I had the resources like a place to set the bed, help taking it off, etc, I would have taken the bed off and sanded and undercoated the frame also.

That would be because it is a staggering amount. I paid $499 for a new Airtex pump plus labor AND towing and I thought that was too steep.

They've got you over a little bit of a barrel since you had it towed there.
