Fuel pump

Default Fuel pump

Need a new fuel pump. Suggestions of Orielly/AutoZone pump or get one from the dealer? Need quality truck needs to last me at least 8 years. TIA

OEM or a Delphi pump is best bet. Carter and airtex are sometimes problems. Had a couple that the gauge didn't read right after. Napa carries Delphi pumps. Install a filter too. Don't have to drop the tank, drop the front enough to access the pump out the top.

You saying you don't ha e to drop the tank completely? Didn't figure there would be enough room to get it out unless it's dropped?

Yes. Make sure the tank is low on fuel. Makes it easier to work with. Pump sender will snake out.

I just replaced mine. I took bed off. It was pretty easy. Youtube has a few how to videos. You will need help lifting bed if you go that route.

If the truck is the one in your avatar.....pulling the bed won't help...Super crews the pump will be under the rear seat
