Fuel problem narrowed down, question.
99', F150 shortbox with 5.4:
After I couldnt duplicate the symptom, it started happening again where my truck wouldnt start. Just cough and sputter. I noticed that when it would do this if it was quiet enough in my garage or wherever...the fuel pump wasnt priming.
So is this the pump? Relay? Wiring to the pump?
Im ready to pull the bed (I keep a half tank at least) and swap out the pump but I just want to make sure.
