Fuel issue?
Morning gentleman, New to the group.
I have 2003 F150 4.6l. 165k miles
The truck fires up in the morning with no issues, if I shut it off and turn it back on no issues, However, If I shut it off and it sets for 30 minutes before restart, it cranks way to long before finally firing up.
Is there possibly a check valve allowing fuel bleed back to the tank.
If I let it sit all day (work) it fires right up.
Has anyone had this issue or can offer some insight.
Thanks

There's a check valve in the fuel pump, it has been known to go bad. When you let it sit for 30mins, when you know it'll happen; turn the key from off to the run position 3x without cranking. Then on the 4th time crank it. If it starts right away then that's probably your problem.
