Default Front suspension

Ok so i have no idea how it was possible, but, last week at work a 2002 f150 4x4 came into the shop for a set of tires and alignment. As i took the front tires off i noticed he had coils up front on stock suspsension and it was the factory independent front end just replaced 2 days previos by antother tech. Yes it is 4X4. How is it possible? First time ive ever seen it.

Same concept though. Custom coil buckets and mounts are pretty much the only way. Someone out there may have a kit but I haven't seen one yet.

So they guy came back last night before we closed up shop, i wouldve taken pictures but i can not have my phone while on the clock. He actually went to one of our local industries and had them make the mounting brackets for the coils, spent $350 for both sides

That's not bad considering you can't buy new t-bars for these trucks anymore.

Were these coil overs or separate coils and shocks?
