Mine were overtorqued once and I lost my wheel. Wound up replacing the whole right side of my rear truck. Watch your torque and I wouldn't use spacers.

ive had the lift for a little over 4 years and it didnt start until 6 months ago. why now and not when the lift was installed? the spacer idea kinda makes sense but how would i correct that? the spacers compensate for the lift. new wheels with minimum offset? im willing to try anything if it works. this is starting to get expensive replacing them every few weeks. thanks for all the feedback

Default breaking lugs

Stock is designed for 31.5" wheels, put 35's on the same lugs, combined with a 1" spacer and it's more than engineered design load for sure. When you "keep" breaking studs, are they the same individual studs or they're all starting to fail at the same time... (yes that's hard to know) It's like installing a 3" level kit, then after 2 years one upper balljoint is shot... then 6 months later the other side goes and the driver tells everyone "the balljoints keep failing".

The truck wasn't designed for 35's on a 1" spacer. Your rims themselves are centred pretty good. Since you're probably not going to want to remove the 1" spacers, I'd maybe suggest replacing all of your studs at once, or see if there are highend hubs or lugs to use with your big wheels.
