Default front end swap?

so i have 2 trucks. 2000 F-150 sport 2wd ext cab 6.5box, and a 98 F-150 4x4 single cab 8ft long box. how hardwould it be to put the 4x4 front end on my truck. or put my cab and box on its frame?

they are the exact same except my grill. but i got mr dodge boy telling me that i will ahev to cut out everythign and replace it with new ****. them dodge boys seem to think that they know everything, According to him NOTHIGN is compatible between the 2

Whoever the Dodge Boys are, they are correct. The frames have different part numbers from Ford for 2wd and 4wd. The 4wd frames are drilled for the components, and the 4wd's have torsion bars which the 2wds don't. I'm sure it could be done, but the effort and what you would have to make or weld up would be a rather large undertaking that I wouldn't do anymore. There are too many nice 4wd's out there that aren't that expensive to purchase. JMO though.
