Default Front end issues

I have a 2000 F150 and my truck is shaking very badly at 40+ mph. I have replaced all of the tie rod ends and the steering feels tight. I checked the ball joints and the lowers are fine and the uppers don't feel that bad. The uppers dont have andy noticable slop it just clunks if you hit it hard enough. Any ideas what it could be???

Just a thought, but could there be any mud on your rims or could you have thrown a wheel weight? this used to give my jeep CJ fits.

Yeah my first thoughts on it were the missing a weight on the wheel... did this to my dodge intrepid once... went and got the tire re-balanced and wasn't a problem after that.

I spent forever trying to find out what it was last night. I saw that one of the inner tie rod ends was hitting the frame so i jacked the truck up and the pitman arm has alot of slop in it. I am going to replace the pitman arm as soon as I can. Guess I spent $80 on tie rods for no reason.
