Default Front differential issues

Almost positive I need to rebuild my front differential. Getting a grinding/humming noise from the front end. Lifted up the front and turned the wheels to find the noise coming from the differential. My main question is can I remove the front axel shafts differential and drive shaft and still be able to drive the truck. I'm not able to just drop it off at the shop at this moment financially.

No. You must disassemble the half shaft and reinsert the section thur the hub and put hub nut back on and torque. But I can tell you from experience the axle shaft is not easy to seperate.
