I have a 97 4X4. I noticed gear oil in my pass side fender well so i checked the front diff, it was low so i added some synthetic gear oil, 80 or 90w as i remember. and the problem seemed to only get worse. When i checked the fill level i noticed some thick deposits on the cover. I know that too thick of an oil could cause this but it shouldnt in my situatiion, i really need some help im out of ideas.
