Default Front Brake trouble

I had to brake hard at high speed and tuck reacted poorly.Pulled the fronts and found passanger side to have little pad (both)remaining, the drivers was almost like new. What do you think?Im wondering perhaps if the drivers caliper is bad,or if previous owner just did 1 side for some reason. Thanks

I think the PO did only one side for whatever reason... I can't see the caliper being so bad that there is no operation of the piston at all... If the line is clamped down, it would force fluid thru the "crazy small" opening, but not let it return when not on the brakes... This will heat up the brakes and make them wear incredibly fast... If it wasn't working at all, every time you touched the brake pedal, it would pull crazy hard to the right... Every time!!!

New pads and check operation of pistons in both calipers... The pass side could be the one that is going bad; sticking clamped... I don't get the stopping power in my truck that my BMW has... I think it is just the nature of the beast... The truck is a beast and brakes aren't up to the challenge all the time... Thought about looking into getting the lightning front brakes, if they are bigger... Haven't done the research on that yet...

Cheers!!!
