Im going to be undercoating my truck in the spring and am probably going to powerwash the whole underside, use a wire wheel and scuff it up, and spray it with some bedliner. I think you can use any paint really, like a rustoleum would be good. I just like the look of the bedliner stuff and think it would look good under the truck and frame.

I've heard using gloss black rustoleum works just as good as any bedliner coating. As long as you prep it properly and get it coated good.

I undercoated the whole underside and frame of my truck with 3M undercoating. Sanded, washed, sprayed some Duplicolor Rust Inhibitor, and then went sprayed on the undercoating. Did sections of it and prob took a total of 10-12 hours to complete and cost me around $90

I cleaned mine up with a wire wheel and thinner and got the dirt and old undercoating off then I brushed on a couple thick coats of rustoleum then when it dried I sprayed a few coats of rubberized undercoating overtop. Mine turned out well and I think it'll last

sounds good thanks for the advice. sounds like a strong power washer and a wire wheel will prep it well enough and a good rust paint will do the trick

Look at chassis saved by monstaliner. The guys who makes it has some videos on his site of him bending and twisting a piece of tin that was coated in chassis saver, and it doesn't crack or flake. Come spring time, I

After looking at the monstaliner, I think that I will be trying that on my truck next year sometime. That looks like some tough stuff, and more of what I am looking for: something I can apply with a brush, and or a roller that is rugged and wont fall off in a year or two. I got looking at the prices, and its about $104 for a gallon of the chasis saver. I still think its worth it though.

Thanks for the tip Hurley91.
