Forgotten Wiring
I pulled the starter motor to replace the clutch and slave cylinder. Can't remember which wire goes where. There are 2 small posts and one big one. Please help. Herb
The big post is the main battery wire and any related fusible links. Since you are obviously working on a 1912 dusenburg the other wires go to the spark advance, the choke pull off valve and the flux capicator..
In other words we need year and engine to help you more.
If its just the 2 wires the small wire goes on the I side of the solenoid.

Sorry to presume you were clairvoyant. My Dussie is actually a 1914 but it's running fine.
The truck I pulled the stupidity on is a 1997 F150, extended cab, 4.2, 2 wheel drive, manual. It's probably a Mazda tranny. Slave went bad. Where did ford come up with the brilliant idea of the concentric slave cylinder. Eight hours to replace a slave is ridiculous.
There are three terminal bolts on the starter(1 large, 2 small) and three wire connections. The big one is actually two black wires coupled. They look like ground wires but my guess is that they are the mains. Correct? The small ones I can't figure out. Recommendation?
Thanks for your help.

put both small wires on the "i" terminal. I know the black wire goes on the "i" terminal. I do not know what the other wire is. It might go on the other side.
