I have a 98 XLT with the factory fog delete covers. This is a common question I am sure but cant find much on our year models. I have the headlight switch that pulls out when the heads are on. Also have the plug on each side where the fogs would go but not sure if they are the right ones cause when I pull the headlight switch out, no power to the plugs. has anyone put factory fogs in that did not originally have them and if so what do you need to make it work. Thanks ahead of time and sorry it is so long.

 

It may be that since your truck didn't come with fog lights, the foglamp relay wasn't installed. Check to see if there's a 5 amp relay in position 27 in your under dash fuse panel.
