fog lights
ok im a dumb *** and put fog lights on my pickup and i didnt want to wire all the way to by battery and make a new switch for them so i just spliced into my stock fog lights but i keep blowing a fuse, so is thier anything i can do without wireing it to by battery

what amp fuse you running now... ur problem is u got tooo much draw thru that fuse... i got 4 extra light running off one fuse and i melt the fuse after awhile... and its a 30 amp fuse... i just got too much draw im gunna wire it up differ... what u can do... is put a relay and fuse in for the lights.. and use the feed from ur oem lightsand use that to poweer the relay... i mean ur gunna ahve to run a wire to the battery but its alot safer and everything

Run you a power wire from the battery and use the factory fogs to switch a relay to turn on your new fog lights. You dont have to get a bigger fuse that way and you will only have to run one power wire from the battery.
