Default Fog light problem

Alrighty folks. Got another thing I need advice for. Fog lights don't turn on.

I pull the switch out, and the fog indicator lights up. Checked any fuses related that I have found, and they're not popped. I don't know where to go from here. Thoughts?

Up until today (or rather, when they stopped working) I had HIDs in my fogs. Was installed by a shop. Never had a problem with them. Then the one side started going out when it wanted to... then the other... then both. And they never came back on. Switched ballasts to one I knew worked, and the light still wouldn't come on. Which told me it was either the bulb or the truck. I put in a regular 9145 bulb, still won't come on. I don't know where to go from here.

If all fuses and relays are good, check to see that you have power at the fog lights themselves. Brownish/organish wire is hot, black is ground.

X2 sounds like your ballast's just went out. got a warranty since they were installed at a shop?

Ballasts aren't bad. The one I used to test was installed two months ago and worked perfectly before I pulled them out of their lowbeam spot 10 minutes prior to testing with them. But still, regular halogen bulbs don't work. Not HID related, despite as much as I'm wishing that's all it was.

Check that the yellow wire at your switch is giving out power. That's we're the signal first begins.
