I have read all of the write-ups on how to do the fog light mod, but I can't figure out how to take the headlight switch assembly apart to grind down the notches so that the **** will pull out when in the park lamps position. If someone could please enlighten me on this it would be greatly appreciated. Truck is a 2001 xlt 4x4 regular cab.

 

I did mine a few months ago. On the back of the switch, around the edges you'll see quite a few places where plastic pins on the face plate go through the housing and have been melted to make the part one piece. All I did was take a knife and got under the melted plastic and it snaps off. When you are putting it back together, you'll just have to superglue the face plate to the housing.
