1998 ford f150. I want to install a pair of fog lights and attach them to my bumper. As far as the wiring goes instead of running to battery and using a toggle switch I am thinking of splicing into my running lights. I believe I can find a negative and positive feed there. Anyone ever do this before? Any tips?

 

What kind of fog lights? Led, halogen, HID? Just wondering because of amount of power they need.

 

X2 on what kind. Also Where on the bumper? I have installed many off-road lights for friends. It's not hard.
