Default floor jack

For a 2000 F-150 4x4 ext cab no lift, what amount of lift would I need from a floor jack to clear my tires and replace my shocks?

Would guess you need at least a 2 ton. We went ahead and got the 3 ton as I have the 2002 F150 4x4 SCrew Lariat and it is slightly over 4000 pounds. What is the GVW of your vehicle listed at? Do you have jack stands to use too? I wouldn't want to use just the floor jack, as I have seen them fail and wouldn't want to have that happen with someone under the vehicle.

ETA: Just realized I may have read this wrong. Oh well, maybe someone else will chime in with a response.
