Flares

When I see this forum year f150s, do fender flares have a meaning? Like does it mean if an f150 with flares is a 5.4 liter while the ones without them have the 4.6 or 4.2 or something like that?

It is a trim option. Has nothing to do with what engine is in it.

All the 2WD's until lariats had them. So king ranch and lariat had them 2WD XL's and XLT's did not. All 4x4's did come with flares.
