Default fan motor

I have a 2000 f-150. The fan motor only works on high. From reading other posts I understand that possible a resistor box might need replacing. Where would it be on my truck, and how do I remove it.?

You probably need a blower motor resistor. On my 97 I lost low speed for about a year, then I lost medium then I couldn't take it only on high. So I bought a electrical manual on ebay. It shows on my truck it is about 6 inches from the fan, which is inside the truck below the glove box. It plugs in from a wire from the blower motor . Can be changed with a nut driver or small socket wrench. Should take about 15 minutes. Cost about 21.00 at a ford dealer. Mine was real rusty and had burned through. I wouldn't buy a used one !!
