Sorry fellas, I'm definitely done with this site, Moderator is deleting my posts, 110% no this for a fact.

Not having that, it's BS when they work against...no excuse.

Later.

Are there any other active F150 sites? F150online sometimes goes days without posts. LightningRodder is the only other F150 site I know of that's active and has knowledgeable tech but they don't apply to most of the stuff we talk about.

FordTruckWorld.com. Not sure how active it is these days. I'm still an active member but haven't logged on in years. Used to be a very active site back in the early 2000's.

Decided to finish this out as there isn't another with as much info about the swap yet. It should benefit those contemplating this upgrade and it's not fair in that respect to quit now.

Yea, I hate getting pimped by those supposedly after the same goal (helping those in need) and know nothing about what they are doing. Hell, we were just talking about that in another thread. How one bad egg can ruin it for many. Funny that this sort of thing hasn't happened here in the past and yet it just did. Had to be a moderator sneaking around behind me, one that fears his job vs making things better. The guy didn't fix what was broken which was the point. It's his job and within the forum rules. Some of you know what thread I'm referring to. It was a bad move revealing his actual worth. If he did the job first, it wouldn't be a big deal and expected.

It's just crap lol.

Welcome back. I'd of felt bad if you disappeared so easily and quickly over some BS that can be ignored. I found one of my posts removed also, but I never knew why. I thought I misplaced it or erased it before posting. When I went to my stat's page, it was there, then gone. It could of only been the Mod removing it. I never understood why, but let it slide. Hmmm. Now I'm wondering also.

It's happened before and they usually know what their doing, that part of their job isn't difficult and I laid it out for them linking the problem (repetitive threads, same user, same questions w/minor change-up to thread title) for them making it even easier. Problem is common and this particular one still exists... and my post is gone lol ?
First offense, maybe I'll ignore after a few. Perhaps it's not the help, but I doubt it. If they can't find better help than that.... it was very weak.

If you reorder the parts for your truck, just order for a 99 Expedition (98 same), and you are golden. The same 702 pads, same calipers and brackets (as the 7700), etc. Keeps the looking down to a dull roar. Just make sure you get steel pistons and not phelonic's. You don't have to go with one year and another. Also the 99 Expy rotors are for the 12mm studs which we have on our 98's.

I did this research 2 years ago and logged all the swap parts. This is a very easy swap and easy to find parts for. Sorry you got all the wrong stuff from Amazon. I posted a thread somewhere. Probably the other F150 site, I don't frequent any longer. Talk about A---oles. I had enough of that site in less than 3 months.

I have everything just about, well the 03 7700 calipers, brackets showed up earlier this week. All I've ever run is steel pistons, - except when it was new, -

Rotors are for an 01 Expedition. My 98 studs are 14 mm at the rotor flange on the hub, actually a little larger. Only the threads cut are 12mm which has absolutely nothing to do with the rotor. The studs thicken where the rotor sets. That's how Ford set this 98 up and I personally miked and now test fitted everything myself since the rotors came yesterday. It's all in thread, I know long thread and I expect a lot of things will be missed since going through an entire thread is a drag in this situation. Once I start the install, I'll summarize and line everything up in this thread, -making it easy to locate information saute. Might even index lol.

BTW, it wasn't Amazon, just EBC so far. Wrong stuff. I sent a letter/email, hear something Monday I expect. I went through some diagrams last night after you posted about my pads. Nothing like what I was suppose to receive.

i found some 2wd rotors for a 99 expy on RA that are the correct thickness but also have the 12mm studs on them.

the only other thing up in the air for me is brake lines, but if i can get a tee block (splitter block, whatever you prefer to call it) to work with the way the lines are set up for the 2WABS, then i'll be golden getting the stainless braided lines.

so do the end of the lines made for 4WABS use a -3AN fitting from factory? cause that's what i'm seeing in places so i thought i'd ask to make sure whatever tee block i might get has the correct fittings needed to bolt right together.

also, brew. i found some 4wd front rotors that are also the correct thickness needed for the swap that have holes for 12mm studs, listed under a 99 expy. you could use those and not have to worry at all about the rotor staying centered as it would be self centering since it has the holes milled for 12mm studs. then it would be just like the factory rotors are.
