f150 electrical engin problem help
I have a problem with my engin it is a ford f150 4x4 king ranch 2002 5.4l so i hade a problem with my light trailer so I chek the rear pluc for the trailer with a test light and i make a contacted with the metal and one positive pin, I could see spark.. afer that I change the fuse # 5 in the fuse box onder the hood and tand the light come on on my trailer So it appeer and other problem, wen I start the engine il runed very ruff like a coil was not work. and the service engin light was on in the dash and the light at the end of my shifter ( overdrave off ) frash all the time. I konw it is an electrical problem but i CANT find it.

OK you can check out www.odb-codes.com/trouble_codes/ for many codes and do www.ask.com and type in code numbers for meanings. You have written down your code numbers. Use your scan tool and scroll to Viewing Freeze frame data and also Retrieving I/M Readiness Status. These tools may further help you. Once you have done these things having written down the answers Erase your Diagnostic Trouble codes and reset. Start and run for some time allowing the puter to go thru all its diagnostics. It will take some time for all the Emission stuff to get turned back on as it went into the reset mode and gradually turns them back on. Then read your DTC's again. You might be ok. Other thought is the trailer hitch electrical package may be damaged internally affecting circuits. You may need to unhook it in the wiring. Check the other out first. Your codes refer to ( shift sol B malf. p0755) - ( heated Catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank B -p0433.) ( Evap Control System Vent Solenoid -p1451). ( p1747 trans code PSI control solenoid short circuit seek pro help.) ( po743 Torque Convertor clutch solenoid circuit) and ( p0135-O2 Sensor Failure Bank 1). Most of these may reset with erase and restart and warm up learning cycles. If you have trailer/tow package with trailer brake package you may have Ford Trouble if the brake was in operation. (The Catalytic Converter may be plugged on B Bank.) Causing your rough running engine situation.

thanks a lot papa tiger for all your information , finaly I hade to go on ford dealer and they finded the problem in 29 min. It was my fault wen I cheked the fuse one by one to verify if one was burn out for my parking trailer I reinstall one fuse in the wronte place and it was the fuse for the automatic transmission modul. so they replace the fuse in good place and all comme back like befor. h a ha ha it cose me only 40 box thanks again
