F150 build help
I have a 2002 f150 with a 5.4 triton in it. There is no exhaust or cats on the truck and I recently found out that it was and engine swap, I ran some parts numbers and I'm guessing it came from a 99 expedition (if anyone has any tips for confirming this they are appreciated).
Upon getting under the hood I found out there was a small engine harness that ruined the original wire harness. We went to the yard and got a new one, for the engine and trans from a 2000 5.4 triton. Upon installation the truck started idled rough and then stalls.
We ran the codes and got 2 that had to do with the canister. I have no idea weather the ecu was changed or not, we got a new one off of a 5.4 but have yet to try it. Any help places to check or ideas are appreciated!
Merry Christmas

If its idling rough and stalling im betting there is a vacuum leak somewhere. If it has no exhaust and no cats then those sensors are going to really screw up the fuel trims causing problems.
If it were me I would get a junk yard stock exhaust and bolt it up so you can atleast have a baseline to go off of.
