Ya ask him if it was just bolt in, and do you know if he did the front too? Ya I figured going this way would be cheaper, I could probably find used ones pretty cheap too.

F250 rear springs were 3" wide from 1980 to present... And before that either 2.25" or 3" depending on year and package...
The center pin is also in a different location relative to the spring eyes... As well as the length of the springs being different...
Zackstack, how wide are your springs?

Be nice if someone could come up with a side by side comparison of the F150 and F250 from 1997. I have been thinking of doing this swap for awhile now. Also a thought would be to just do a complete axle swap from the F250 into the F150.

It's not the perches on the axle... It's the hangers and shackles you need to worry about as well as the center pin location...
Width of hangers on our trucks are 3" wide to accept the 2.5" springs with bushings and 3 5/8" wide on the 250 and 350 to accept the 3" wide springs with bushings...
I've seen people hack em on and hammer their hangers out to fit which is ridiculous IMO... There pics on the web somewhere of the bent up mess with uneven pressure on the bushings
Also from spring eye to the center pin (which located your axle in the wheel well) it's easier to explain from my 2 min drawing haha
That's all I'll say here since it seems nobody cares what I have to say in this thread haha
