Default F 150 to f 250 steering wheel

Will the f250 and excursions wheels fit my 99 f150? Are the spines the same size?

Short answer is YES. I researched this before and found the set up I wanted. I am currently replacing my stock steering wheel with one out of a 2000 Navigator. I will have an extra set of switch controls, that I may add the wiring to have steering wheel controls for the radio also. The air bag fits right into the same slot, and I will have the wood grain trim, making it look better in my opinion.

Here is the one I am installing, The hub in the middle is the same for the F150/F250 etc, as well as the Navigator and the Expedition and Excursion.

I've wanted to swap in a new f150 steering wheel if i could find one (i've looked). Just found this on ebay though:

This seems to imply that an F250 steering wheel should be compatible with an F150

That is the exact wheel that I'm replacing with the Lincoln wheel. That is the identical wheel used for all the leather installed models listed in my prior post. The splines are correct and fitment perfect. With using a F250 up wheel, you can only go to 2004-5, They upgraded the Super Duty's after 05, so they went to the 6 hex mount after that. Good luck.

Newer steering wheels have a 6 sided hex style mount. The older models, like ours, use a serated splined shaft. The newer ones will NOT work with our 1997-2004 H models. The newer style steering wheel mounts are the same as the newer 05 up Mustangs, and using a Mustang steering wheel, might be a nice addition for the newer trucks. Just thinking outloud (texting)_lol.
